Since starting her voiceover career in 1994, Benedetta Ferraro has become one of the leading Italian voices in the UK regularly working both in Italian and English. 
Extremely versatile, her voice has many colours and timbres throughout her mezzo soprano range. An accomplished all-rounder, her distinctive voice is frequently heard in TV and Radio advertisements, TV promos, narration, announcements and news. 
Benedetta works extremely well under pressure and is bright, articulate and consistent for long recordings.  
She also specialises in kids and cartoon voices, video games and is a professional singer. 
Benedetta has voiced numerous TV and radio commercials both in Italian and English. Her list of high profile blue chip clients includes Alitalia, British Airways, Microsoft, BT, Expedia Italy, FIAT, Google, Muller, Nokia, Samsung, The Observer, The Times, Vanish, Vodafone and many more. 
TV Channels she has worked for include: Discovery Channel, Sky (Italy and UK), Cartoon Network Italy, Boomerang, ESPN Classic Sport, Bloomberg, CNN, Playboy, MTV, Hallmark and National Geographic.  
Currently, she regularly works for RAI (Tg1, Tg2, Tg3) as well as being the voice of JimJam, ABC, MTV and Playboy. 
Her acting skills can be heard in radio plays such as BBC4’s “A Thousand Days In Venice” and numerous video games including: Metal Gear Solid, Pacman, Gran Turismo 4, Half Life, Half Life 2, Star Trek, G-Police, Medieval, Medieval 2, Colony Wars, Hitman, WDL Warjets, Tetrus, Ape Escape, Destrega, Syphon Philter, Civ 3, Drakon, Global Domination, Beast Wars, Klingons, Falcon, Mech Commander, Xcom, Jak And Daxter, Cubix, Mashed, etc 
Benedettas’s break into the voiceover business happened in 1994, when she auditioned and won the narrator part for Channel 4’s youth culture series “Passengers” (voiced in English by Jo Whiley).  Prior to that, she produced and directed music shows for the pan-European TV network Superchannel and the Italian terrestrial channel Videomusic, also interviewing on camera the world’s biggest pop stars (she considers interviewing David Bowie live on Italian national TV for the ‘Freddie Mercury Tribute’ the pinnacle of her presenting career).  She continued presenting on camera for NBC when they purchased Superchannel for two more years. Benedetta still writes music interviews for the press agency ‘’, which provides content for music and lifestyle magazines and websites around the world. 
Benedetta is also in great demand for toys. She is the voice of the Italian Furby and the voice of "Puppy" from Fisher-Price's 'Laugh & Learn' toy line in Italy. Amongst the many others she has voiced in the past are the Star Wars official toys as Queen Amidala and ET official toys as Elliott. 
Hasbro toys also included are Twister Moves, Hulk, Cluedo, and Whac-a-mole.  
Another area she specializes in is narration for guided tours in museums and art/photography exhibitions. Her voice will guide you around the British Museum, the Tate Gallery, the Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Louvre, Graceland (Elvis Museum – she plays Priscilla and Lisa Marie), Versailles, Hampton Court, Sterling Castle, Guggenheim Museums in New York, Bilbao, Venice and Berlin, Buckingham Palace's Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, the Fashion Museum, Bath’s The Roman Baths, Windsor Castle, The Manchester United FC Museum at the Old Trafford, the Chelsea FC Museum at Stamford Bridge and on the Original Tour Bus Company 
in London, amongst many others.  
Some of her other voiceover work include projects as varied as: being the voice of Stansted Express and Gatwick Express trains, the voice of Luton Airport, of the Nortel Networks launch campaign in Italy, of SAP Development Solutions and Hilton University tuition courses, of Denzo Car Navigation Systems for Jaguar and Toyota, of Lowrance Car Navigation, of Sony Playstation Broadband Instruction Video and of many Italian Language courses.
